ABOUT ANNAH
Yoga Teacher | Nutritionist | Educator
Yoga
I discovered yoga when I was a student, searching for a way to relax, recover from a physical injury and deal with stress and anxiety. The more I practised, the more focused and connected I became. This growing self awareness led me to embark on a journey of discovery across India, Australia, Europe and the USA, completing training and immersions in Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga for Children, Yoga for Teens, Yoga Nidra, Prenatal Yoga, Postnatal Yoga, Anatomy & Physiology. I've been sharing my passion for yoga for over a decade, and continue to learn and evolve my practice and how I share it with the wider community.
What to expect in my classes:
My teaching style is both dynamic and restorative, providing space, time and guidance for you to move, breathe and reconnect with yourself - physically, mindfully and emotionally.
The focus is always on creating space within the practice - in the body & mind - so that you can give yourself what you need to feel nourished & empowered again.
Holistic classes are a blend of traditional Hatha yoga postures, contemporary Vinyasa flow (linking breath with movement), practical breathing techniques and restorative relaxation. Building self-awareness and connection to our inner wisdom are at the core of my practice and teaching.
In longer classes and workshops, I love to dedicate time to restorative postures and a generous dose of relaxation, incorporating Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) techniques to promote a deep sense of calm, clarity and overall wellbeing. Yoga Nidra is an incredibly calming, healing and effective meditation practice, where you will be guided into a state of deep relaxation using breathing techniques, visualisations, sensory awareness and mindful meditation.
I am qualified in prenatal and advanced postnatal yoga instruction, and offer safe, tailored classes to pregnant and postnatal women; as a mum of a young child myself, it is always a pleasure to share these practices with other mums during this unique time of transition into motherhood.
Head to the Classes page to view and book on to upcoming yoga events.
If you would prefer a completely tailored 1:1 programme, either as an introduction to yoga or to refine your practice, please get in touch for availability.

Nutritional Therapy and Education
Nutrition has played an important part in my life since my teens, supporting family members and myself through health issues by changing the way we ate as a family and seeing the positive effect it had on our wellbeing and zest for life.
My interest in personalised nutrition & lifestyle medicine continued throughout university, so I went on to study with the College of Naturopathic Medicine and completed further clinical practice with the Institute of Optimum Nutrition and research design with the University of Aberdeen.
I am a registered BANT and CNHC practitioner (the highest possible standard for Nutritional Therapists in the UK), and trained Health & Nutrition Coach.
My approach to nutritional therapy is holistic and meticulous - taking the whole person into consideration through a detailed consultation, including their relationship with food and lifestyle factors, while drawing on evidence-based clinical practice to offer personalised nutritional health guidance.
Utilising my previous experience in the education sector, I previously worked as a nutrition advisor for a national food aid charity providing healthy breakfasts to school children across the UK. This also involved research into the factors affecting children's health and wellbeing, which continues to be a passion of mine.
I now offer 1:1 nutritional therapy consultations to individuals and bespoke educational workshops to groups, schools and businesses. Contact me for more information and to book a 1:1 consultation or guided group workshop with me.
It is my mission to debunk the many myths surrounding food, diet and health, while making nutritional knowledge accessible to all. When we understand how our relationship with food has the power to affect our wellbeing on many levels, we can start to regain control of our health through individual choice and professional guidance.
